Jobs
A big install often goes in over a few days: the bar on Thursday, the stage on Friday. Give the job its install days, put each line on the day it goes up, and the installer's page, the calendar and the phone all show the same plan. Before the van is loaded, walk the crew through every item and print a packing list to go on each one. Prices never show on any of it.
On the job's Overview, click Add date beside Install in the When card, pick the day, and give it a start and finish if you know them. That first day is the job's install date. For more days, click Add another install day. You can do the same from the job's Install tab with Add the install day and Add a day. Click a day to change it, or Take it off: it asks first, and the lines on it go back to another day.
Open the job's Install tab. Days shows a column for each install day, with a card for each line: its picture, ID, name, how many and its size. Drag a card onto the day it goes up. To move a few together, tick them (Shift-click ticks a run of them) and drag them, or click Move to day… and pick the day, or A new day…. Drop lines on Add a day to start a new day with them. A line can have its own time on its day: click Add a time on its card. Lines you haven't moved go up on the first day. Every move can be undone.
Click Walk-through at the top of the Install tab. It shows the install days, where it is, who to ring and the install notes, then every item as a big card with its picture, its day, its parts and its notes. Click Walk through to show them one at a time across the whole screen, with the arrow keys to step through and Esc to close.
Click Packing list on the job's Items tab, Print packing list on the Walk-through, or Print packing list in the job's More menu (at the top right of the job). It opens in a new tab. Each item gets a label with its number, name, how many, its width and height, and its picture; an item made of parts shows every part on it, drawn to scale. At the top, pick how many go on a sheet (1, 2, 4, 6 or 9), A4 or A3, and Landscape or Portrait, and you see the sheets just as they'll print. Then click Print. No prices are on it.
The installer's page lists what goes up under each install day and time, and Print packing list, under What goes up, prints the same sheets from their link. The calendar shows an install on every install day, with the lines going up that day.
Open the job in the Plana app. Under Install day (Install days when there are several), each day lists the lines going up on it: tap a day to change its day and times, or tap Add another install day. Tap a line to give it a day and time of its own, or Use the job's day; moving lots of lines at once is easier on the website's board. The Packing list, under Paperwork, opens as a PDF with one A4 sheet per item.
