Order pages

An order page is like a product page in an online shop, for one of your products or job templates. Customers pick the options, say how many, send their artwork and see it in 3D before they order. Each order comes in as a new job for you to check, with their artwork already on it. Nothing is charged and nothing is sent.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Make an order page

Open Order pages in the sidebar and click Make an order page, then pick a product or a job template. You can also open a product and click its Order page tab, or click Order page beside a job template.

  2. 2

    Set it up

The editor has your settings on the left and the page itself on the right, changing as you type. Words & pictures is the name, a line under it, what it's about, selling points, pictures and common questions. Choices sets which options customers pick, how many they can order and whether the price shows. What to ask sets which details they must give, and you can add your own questions.

  3. 3

    Let them see it first

Under Previews, turn on the 3D preview and their artwork appears on the product's 3D model as soon as they add it. Pick a venue to show the room it's going in. Turn on On their site and they can take a photo of where it's going, and Plana makes a picture of it there. Each one costs a few cents and the page says it's a mockup, not the proof.

  4. 4

Turn it on and share the link

Flick the switch at the top to On, then click Copy link. Put it on your website, in a newsletter or on a QR code. Turn it off any time and the link says the page is closed.

  5. 5

    A link for one customer

Click Link for a customer and pick the company. Their link opens with their business, contact and address already filled in, and shows their own prices. The same customer always gets the same link. On the phone, open the company and tap Send an order link.

  6. 6

    When an order comes in

You get a New order notification and a new job, as a quote to check, with the product, their artwork on its line and their answers in the job's description. They're taken to the job's customer page, where your proof will come.

  7. 7

    Your brand kit

Organisation settings, then Brand kit, sets the colours, fonts, corners and layout every order page wears, and your customer portal and installer page too. A page can change its own accent, heading font or layout under Look.

Good to know

  • Only people who can see prices can change an order page, because it can show prices to customers.
  • Job templates have no prices, so their order pages ask for a quote instead.
  • The price shown includes GST, with the ex-GST figure underneath.
